Another convenient way to know your SSS Contribution, Loan Status, Loan Eligibility and other matters pertaining to your SSS Account can also be done thru Text Message. This is faster process than my previous post on How to Register Your Online Account in My.SSS.

Registration

Type in SSS (SPACE) REG (SPACE) SS NUMBER (SPACE) DATE OF BIRTH MMDDYY (SPACE) FIRST NAME (SPACE) LAST NAME and send it to 2600 (Recommended)

Example: SSS REG 2139134567 021490 BRYCE ZAPANTA

Or you can follow this format:

Type in SSS (SPACE) REG FIRST NAME (SPACE) MIDDLE INITAL WITH PERIOD (SPACE) LAST NAME (SPACE) DATE OF BIRTH MMDDYY (SPACE)SS NUMBER and send this to 2910

Example: SSS BRYCE X. ZAPANTA 021490 2139134567

When you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation message that tells you what your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is. The PIN is very vital information because you’ll need this in every SSS transaction.

Make Inquiries

To inquire about your SS Contribution, Key in the following:

SSS (SPACE) CONTRIB (SPACE) SS Number (SPACE) PIN and send to 2600 (Recommended)

Example: SSS CONTRIB 02141990 1X2C9Q

You can also do this format as an alternative (2910), but I do not recommend. I prefer the previous one.

SSS (SPACE) TC (SPACE) SS Number (SPACE) PIN and send to 2910

Example: SSS TC 02141990 1X2C9Q

To inquire about your SS Loan Status, Key in the following:

SSS (SPACE) LOANSTAT (SPACE) SS NUMBER (SPACE) PIN and send this to 2600 (Recommended)

Example: SSS LOANSTAT 02141990 1X2C9Q

Or you can do this format (2910):

SSS (SPACE) LS (SPACE) SS NUMBER (SPACE) PIN and send this to 2910

Example: SSS LS 02141990 1X2C9Q

 

To inquire about your Loan Balance, Key in:

SSS (SPACE) LOANBAL (SPACE) SS NUMBER (SPACE) PIN and send this to 2600 (Recommended)

Example: SSS LOANBAL 02141990 1X2C9Q

Or you can do the 2910 format:

SSS (SPACE) LB (SPACE) SS NUMBER (SPACE) PIN and send to 2910

Example: SSS LB 02141990 1X2C9Q

 

Password Maintenance

You can easily retrieve your Password if you forget it by doing this:

RESET (SPACE) SS NUMBER (SPACE) DATE OF BIRTH MMDDYY and send this to 2600

Example: RESET 02141990 021490 (Recommended)

Or you can just do this:

SSS (SPACE) GET PIN and send it to 2910

Example: SSS GET PIN

 

If you prefer to change your Personal Identification Number (PIN), you can simply type in:

SSS CHANGE PIN <Old PIN> / <New 6-digit PIN>

SSS (SPACE) CHANGE PIN (SPACE) OLD PIN NEW PIN (6 DIGITS)

Example: SSS Change PIN 1X2C9Q 213BKX
