I told myself that it would be easier for me to pay my Meralco Bill through Online bank transfer. That was great and really convenient and I’ve been doing that for several months now. I just waited for the postman to arrive and hand over my Meralco Bill, make some few clicks and turns and voila, I’m already paid my Meralco Bill through BPI Bills Payment Online.

But due to boredom after a very long vacation from my dead end job, I manage to discover that Meralco has an online facility that makes its customer able to view their monthly Meralco Bills Online ahead of time. This concept was not new to us. But this is the first time I visited their website.

I believe that having my Meralco Bill Online account makes it easier for me since I can just forget the hard copy of my Meralco bill which the postman delivers to my house monthly. Well, I just need to keep the Meralco Bill since all that I need on that paper is the current amount due of my Meralco bill.

Start using your own Meralco Bill Online

One of the requirements in registering your own Meralco Account Online is you should have a valid email address and your recent Meralco Bill or at least it is dated for the current year. It requires you to have your Service ID Number and the Amount Due which you can easily found in your Meralco bill. Once you’ve gathered all the require information, visit the Meralco Website for Customers.

On the left side menu, click on the Meralco E-bill link

Click on the New User link found at the bottom of your screen to register an account.

Read the Terms and Conditions if you prefer to waste your time then click I Agree.

On the next page, type in correctly your Meralco Service ID (SIN) Number, the Bill date (can be found in your Meralco Bill) and the Amount Due. Double check the required fields that you’ve just provided and then click Enroll.

In the User Information page, enter your First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Birth date, Address, Telephone Number, your preferred Login Name and your preferred password.

Select any Hint Question and Answer that can you can easily remember whenever your Meralco account gets locked.

In Subscription portion of the page, you can select if (1) you want to be notified through email whenever your current Meralco Bill Online is available, (2) notify you through email whenever the due date of your current Meralco Bill is near and (3) notify you through email about the Meralco news and updates.

In my case, I only subscribe for the first two features and leave the third one unsubscribe. Lastly, provide a valid email address then click the “Enroll” button.

Once your registration is successful, you will be now directed to this page (image above).

You are given two options here, it’s either you view your Service Data by click the link in the sentence:

Or click Return to the Login Page if you want to try out your username and password.

I will now view my Service Data since I am pretty sure that my Username and Password is working.

In the dashboard, I can see the Service ID Number (SIN) Number I just enrolled. You can add several Service ID Number (SIN) Number here if you have several residences and bills to pay.

If I click on the Service ID Number (SIN) Number link, you can see the Meralco Service Identification Details about the owner of the Meralco meter. This is the information about the person who is registered in Meralco. In my case, the name of the person I can see is my Land Lord (well, because he’s the one who registered my apartment Meralco Electricity Meter in Meralco.)

Moving on, at the top portion of the screen, the menu is composed of several links. I will click on the Billing History to view current and past Meralco Bills.

The page will display Twelve (12) months of Meralco Bills. Each month displays the Amount of the Meralco bill and the amount Kilowatt Hour Consumed (Consumption (kWh). It will also display if the bill is already paid or in Collectible Status. Collectible simply means the bill is still unpaid.

If I click on the Date link, a pop up window will appear and display the Meralco Bill duplicate. You can print this if you want to but it’s total waste of my time and ink so I’ll just skip that part. Besides, I already have my Meralco bill delivered to my doorstep monthly.

Going back to the top main menu, when I click the Option link, it will display the account maintenance page. You can do Account management stuffs around here such as:

• Change Password
• Change Hint Question
• Update Personal Information
• Enroll Another Service
• View Another Service
• Unsubscribe

You’re a grown up now, do whatever you want!

Lastly, whenever you have disputes or complains about your Meralco bill, the first thing to do is go to your Meralco branch and start asking question. The Meralco Customer service will log a Customer Complain. If you have a Meralco Online account, your Customer Complain will be displayed here. I guess the most important detail here are the Status of your Meralco Complain and the date it was received.

This is viewable using the Complaints link at the top menu.

So that’s it, my job is done here! A good and much needed move (for me), having my Meralco Bill viewable online right? This coming months, I don’t need to wait for the Meralco Bill to arrive. I’ll just log in to my Meralco Bill Online Account, see how much is my Meralco Bill then pay it using my BPI Express Online Bill Payment Facility. It would make my life easier.

Who is he?

He pulled some feathers from his wings, but I can see the pain he’s feeling while taking it off. He placed them on my wound and it healed faster than I could imagine. After healing all the wounds and bruises that I have, he swiftly flew away.Loneliness came to me when he left. I found myself all alone and looking for him, hoping he would come back. I became desperate to know who he was. I felt scared that I’ve lost him and I didn’t know why, maybe because he’s all I have. I didn’t know who I am and why I’m here, and I also didn’t know who he was. Many thoughts came running through my mind. Some are vague, it seems like it came from my past. I’ve become hysterical, I’m losing myself. I knock my head off to the ground many times for me to wake up if I’m still dreaming. First. Second. Third. And before I could do my fourth insanity process of “knocking myself off” to the ground, a hand touches my forehead. He panicked; he examined my head to look for any damages. He fondles my hair like a baby, kissed my forehead and embraced it like he’s been losing something he really treasured. He was dead serious. And I was speechless. He got up and gave me plenty of fruits.

He walked away looking tired, sat at the corner of the tower and watched the sunset. “Thank you” that’s all I could say. The sunset was beautiful, and so was him. I stared at him realizing the reason why he left me for a while; it was for him to get me something to eat. He then spread his wings and covered himself by it. Maybe he became diffident because he noticed I was staring at him. I smiled because of his action. But after I finished eating the fruits he gave me, he was still there, not moving. Is he sleeping? Should I wake him up and ask him who he was? But a sudden weakness came to me, I felt sleepy, I yawned and fell asleep. After an hour or so, I was awoken by a fragrance. An aroma that I knew I’ve smelled before, somewhere in my dreams… In a place of serenity, in a still air of paradise, seducing me to follow its sweet temptation. When I opened my eyes, it was dark and I felt warm, like someone’s cuddling me for me to stay comfortable while sleeping. After a minute, when my eyes have adapted to darkness, I saw his face; it was just right next to mine. And I felt him breathing in and out, at the same time as mine. We breathe the same air under his wings. He covered me up for me to stay warm, to protect me. I’ve never felt safer, until this very moment with him. I wanted to kiss him, to let him feel I appreciated everything he has done for me. It was the first time I’ve felt this. And it was the time I realized that I’m beginning to fall inlove with this stranger…

The breaking of the dawn was remarkable. I woke up seeing him pray. He was kneeling there before the sunrise, with his head bowed and his hands enclosed. I just watched him because I have nothing else to do but to watch. It took several hours and I started to get bored. Isn’t it painful to kneel on rough surfaces for hours? I somehow became worried that his knees would hurt because of this. But then I realized after all that he’s an angel and he can easily heal himself to take away the pain.

But how can he endure that? How can he last for hours of not moving? Is it the strength that God had given to him and the reason why he’s praying for hours? What was he trying to tell to God that took him so long?

I felt like I have never believed in God. Maybe somewhere in my past that I couldn’t remember, I’m an atheist. But now, I’m with an angel.

If angels are real, and so was God. Is it the time that I should believe after all? But what was he doing here with me? Is this his mission from God?

More questions came running through my mind, but they all remained unanswered. I finally got fed up watching him and asking myself so I got up to approach him. As I walked towards him, I accidentally fell down because of the rough land that I hadn’t noticed. It was a dramatic collision of my face to the ground, and it hurts. But what I’m more concerned of is how I was ashamed in his eyes because of these f*cking rocks that came on my way! Okay, fine. I’m just sour graping. I’ll have to admit that it’s because of my stupidity and clumsiness, so I instantly got up as if nothing happened. And I looked back at him to know if he saw the incident. Unfortunately he saw it, because after seeing me, he immediately looked down and pray. But before he continued to pray, he smiled. It was the first time I’ve seen him smile. I didn’t know what I should feel. I felt embarrassed but at the same time, I somehow liked it because it made him smile. It’s that wonderful smile that came crawling through my veins that makes me shudder. After a few minutes, his prayers finally came to an end and he sat down. And I sat down beside him to talk to him. I asked him so many things about his identity and mine, but he never said anything. He never said a single word.

So angels are mute? Do they really cannot speak?

I kept talking to him, telling him every thought that came to my mind. I even came to the point of telling him humorous thoughts just to see him smile. And luckily, he did.

Three days had passed with the same routine. He, bringing me something to eat, making me warm every time I sleep, praying every dawn, and smiling without saying anything. I, talking to him every day without any response, doing crazy things to make him smile, asking more questions, stare at him for hours, and fell in love with him more and more as time passed us by. But it was this day that ended it all. One morning, I woke up seeing him spread his wings to fly. A rush came to me that I felt like he’s leaving me forever and I immediately ran to stop him. I embraced him so that he won’t leave. I persuaded him to stay with me. I unpredictably kissed him, but he kissed me back that I thought he would never do. It was long enough to make me realize that he loves me too. It started to rain hard. It was accompanied by the thunder and lightning. He was startled by what we’ve done. He squeezed me into his arms and we started to fly. The thunder roars like it’s the end of the world. And the lighting strikes at us constantly. The sky started to get darker and darker until I could barely see anything. The strong wind fought back against us and I held him tight, afraid that I could fall and lose him. But we weren’t strong enough to endure it; it’s clashing between us to break us apart. I started to lose my grip on him, and so was he. I began to fall, I reached for him but I couldn’t, he’s drifting away from me together with the wind. I screamed for him, hoping he would save me, but he never came. I felt weightless and lifeless, like a leaf slowly falling down. I closed my eyes and saw him in my thoughts, all the moments that we’ve spent together. Everything’s too good to be true. Now everything’s clear to me. He’s an angel that can never be mine, because I’m a human, a sinner. And he had committed a sin because of me. I fell in an ocean. Now I’m drowning in a vast of boiling water. The heat’s thawing my flesh. I’m being cooked alive. The pain’s gradually increasing and it’s making me lose from my senses. I embraced the reality of my death until I began to lose my consciousness. The last sound I heard was my name.

Sally, can you hear me?

I hear someone say. Then there was this constant “beep” sound. I began to try to open my eyes, but the light’s blinding me. In a blurred vision, I saw the one whom the voice came from. She looked so worried and her eyes began to gather tears. She embraced me and said

“Oh my… thank you, thank God you finally woke up”.

Where am I? Who are you?

I said stuttering. The woman in a white coat came to the side of my bed.

“You’ve been out in a coma for three weeks. She’s you’re sister”

while letting her hand out to direct it to the lady crying a while ago.

“You were now suffering from a shock because of what happened and might not remember some things. You were one of the passengers of a sunken ship. Unfortunately, you had several head injuries before you were drowned which causes damages to your brain”.

But… how come I am now here? I felt like I… remembered… I was drowning but I couldn’t…

I gasped. And suddenly my sister said “he saved you, I guess he loved you that much to sacrifice his own life for you” while she held out a picture of a man. A man with beautiful and innocent hazel brown eyes and at the bottom corner written is To my love, Rosalie.

The shutting of the door made her came to her senses. She had a bad dream, actually a nightmare. Even though she had come to reality, her heartbeat is still pounding faster. She felt a chill as the thunder strikes twice with the heavy rain pouring outside. It gives her an eerie moment thinking what had happened. She noticed the half-filled glass of wine on the side table, but she can’t remember she had drunk any of it. She realized that she had fallen asleep on the couch, waiting for someone.

And then she remembered that someone had arrived. So she stood up and walked through the parquet floor, realizing and wondering why her feet are naked, when she can’t remember she had removed her shoes when she got home. She proceeds to the kitchen and saw him. He doesn’t seem to notice her. She was about to approach him, but she didn’t. Her instincts told her so. She had always been living and deciding with her instincts. She has an incredible manner of thinking, an unpredictable way. Her narrow, sharp eyes made her look invulnerable. And made her seem she doesn’t trust anyone, except him. But these are also one of the reasons why she has captured his heart, her eyes which tells the truth when she’s telling the opposite. She’s been a young woman who thinks deep, an unimaginable depth of human nature. There she was staring at him, as he savors every taste of the food he’s putting in his mouth. It was the first time she had stared to him like that, as if it was the last time she’s going to see him. Her eyes scrutinized every inch of details in his face. His nose, his lips that she had kissed many times, his hair that she usually stroke with her fingertips, and his deep-set, round eyes that hypnotized her and made her believe in everything he says. Time suddenly drifts to the past, to the moment when everything seems to be perfect, up to its downfall.

How possible could a psychiatrist and a painter meet in an ordinary day and fall for each other? It was a typical day in a typical coffee shop where this typical young woman used to go. The untouched coffee in front of her seems to lose its passion. She was staring blankly through the window pane, seeing the busy streets, wishing she could take a full-month vacation for her to relax and take a rest. All of a sudden, a deep voice told her not to move, and so she did. She became nervous and curious on what must be happening. After a minute, she was still there, frozen. She was about to complain when the voice told her

“Please hold on just another minute.”

The painter was amused seeing his work, as he finished a few strokes. He then sat in front of her. He thanked her for her patience and apologized for the hasty interruption in her solitary moment. Before she could ask what the hell he did, he told her about the illumination. The illumination within her that captured his attention, and he knew it will lose its essence if it were done differently. He likes it that way, unexpected, unprepared, all happens with just a flash. Then finally she asked,

“What illumination?”

He replied hesitantly,

“Actually, it was an unfathomable light within you while you were there staring outside. I can’t further explain on it, but maybe I’ll just call you tomorrow at daybreak for us to talk. For the meantime, please accept this simple gratitude of mine.”

He then left, leaving a flower on the table. This white three-petal flower is a “snowdrop”; it usually grows fifteen centimeters tall, flowering during January and February. She was shocked by the sudden transition, and realized how he was supposed to contact her? He didn’t ask for her number or even her name. Who is this stranger and what is this light he’s talking about? But when she saw the flower, she just smiled and left.

At daybreak, she went to this odd garden where she used to stroll and play when she was a child. It is the only place in their town where you can see these snowdrops. And then he came, smiling back at her, certainly expecting her. He knew she would come. A week before, a dream told him that a light will come and he must bring it to this place. And there she was, she had deciphered the time and place they would meet again. She didn’t disappoint him, she’s the one. They talked and shared moments with each other like usual people falling in love. They had been envied mostly by their friends because of their almost perfect relationship. It was then before the unanticipated incident.

Her head aches as she tried to recall it. She’s having a hard time remembering it, the vague part of her past. It’s as if her brain is tearing down into pieces, isolating the good and bad memories she had. And the man in front of her doesn’t seem to notice her. He finally stood up, and passed through her. She was startled and terrified by what she saw. She felt lifeless. She felt her knees start to quiver. She was about to look back to reach for him, but he’s gone. Her head starts to ache again. She’s seeing a blurred vision from the past. She’s starting to hallucinate, it seems like the neurons in her brain are panicking. She saw a plane crash, a crowd in black, and people crying. She’s slowly losing touch from reality. The last figure she saw is the newspaper on the table that confirms the accident.

She woke up in a white room. She’s wearing a long, white dress. She can’t remember what had happened. Her eyes scanned the whole room, but she can’t see anything but white, except for this thing attached on the wall. She looked closely at it. It was a paper which has something on it, a sketch of a young woman staring outside the window. The woman was holding something, it looks like a flower. After realizing what flower it was, she laughed. She knew he had given the snowdrop after they talked, not during the creation of this sketch. It now became apparent that he was not drawing something based on the present, but instead, on the future. And then she also saw the illumination, the light he had been telling her. She finally understood what this means, it’s what it is destined to be. A tear fell from her eyes, and then she began to laugh.

In death, all things become clear, he had died in a plane crash and everything she saw was just a memory. She laughs while she is struggling for the pain slowly reacting in her flesh. Tomorrow would be just an ordinary day for the ordinary people. And the past is all they will have up to this moment. She was now ready to see him again. She slowly knelt down as if it would be the first and last prayer she would do. And so it was, her vision slowly disappeared, the darkness engulfed her surroundings, and then… nothing…

What’s new with the iPhone?

By having a quick glance at the New iPhone, anyone can say that Apple made an overhaul with its 4-inch (16:9 display) screen display with a 1,136×640 resolution or 326 pixel per inch. Retina display is still present on the new Iphone. The new iPhone reduced some excess fats by flaunting a 7.6mm thickness (18% thinner) and weighs 112 grams (20% lighter). The new iPhone beats its predecessor, iPhone 4s, in terms of thickness and weight.

Tim Cook, current CEO, mentioned that the new iPhone carries the cutting edge A6 processor boasting 22 percent smaller than A5 processors without sacrificing all its capabilities (doubling it up instead).

iPhone 5 will be rocking out of the box with the latest installment of IOS 6. The latest mobile software from Apple has gone through a lot of improvement such as your old friend, Siri.

Siri learned new tricks this time by showing you the Rotten Tomatoes ratings and talking about NFL. You can now update your status on Facebook…by voice command. Other stuffs were added like the new Passbook.

The new iPhone comes in a beautiful black design –and in white. The white version has a raw aluminum back. The black one has the black anodized backing. The iPhone 5 reminds us of the original iPhone which has a completely iconic design.

The iPhone 5 will be available for purchase on Sept. 21 and just like iPhone 4s, the iPhone 5 will be available at an introductory retail price of $199 for a 16GB model, $299 for a 32GB and $399 for the 64GB model. You can start pre-ordering your new iPhone 5 on the 14th of September.

There are many various types of valid ID you can apply. Some of them can easily be obtained in their respective branch or agencies.

Valid ID is required whenever you transact, enter a corporate premises or even opening a bank account. Here’s the list of Valid ID acceptable in the Philippines:

• Company IDs issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC.

The general conditions for all Identification Document (ID) to be valid and be accepted are:

• it must have a photo of the client;
• it must not be expired; and
• copies must be clear (photo and information details can be readily seen)
• If submitting a photocopy, the original Identification Document must be presented.
